A quaint little village known for its arts and crafts workshops. Craftsmen show their skills as they work with glass, wood, copper, paint ( scenes painted on leaves), ink (calligraphy).

There are various discovery tours organised by the cosmetics brand name Yves Rocher which has its headquarters in la Gacilly.
You can visit ‘Le Végétarium’ ( Europe’s first museum entirely devoted to plant life) and the botanic gardens, a photo display and the production site of the company.

Loheac (15 km)
The ‘Manoir de l’Automobile’ is a magnificent museum which exhibits over 400 collector’s cars.
It has its own rally competition circuit and karting tracks.

Rochefort-en-Terre (30 km)
One of the most renowned Breton villages, its charm, history and buildings give it the status of ‘petite cité de caractère’. Admire lovely homes dating from the 16th to the 18th century and a very beautiful gothic church. You will find plenty of antique shops to browse in too !

St Just (5 km)

Just outside the village, situated in a protected area of heath lands is one of France’s most important megalithic sites (standing stones).
A walk through this trail is to be recommended at any time of the year.

There are many more places to visit and we would be very happy to help you in your choices.
